Call Of Duty Warzone Delays Season 4 Launch

The game’s Twitter account posted this statement overnight: Some big companies have stepped aside, thinking now not the time for exuberant marketing. EA delayed the announcement of Madden NFL 21 and Sony have postponed their big not-E3 stream, both of which were due to happen this week. “We are moving the launches of Modern Warfare Season 4 and Call Of Duty: Mobile Season 7 to later dates. “Right now it’s time for those speaking up for equality, justice and change to be seen and heard....

Call Of Duty Warzone S Trucks Are Probably Being Nerfed

As prophesised, Raven Software have indeed nerfed the trucks. According to their patch notes, they’ve reduced the number that spawn around the map. This should mean they’ll be a bit easier to whittle down over the course of a match. Other changes include adjustments to popular weapons the CR-56 AMAX, FARA, and LW3-Tundra. Some mid-range optics have also been reworked too, which should make them more viable. Turns out that it’s not humans with guns who pose the biggest threat in Call Of Duty: Warzone, it’s actually the trucks....

Chill Junkyard Gardening Sim Cloud Gardens Is Out Now

I clearly should have saved that description for Cloud Gardens. It’s a similarly chill urban design game, but here you’re planting, growing and, yes, pruning plants across dioramas of urban decay. It’s now hit 1.0 and left early access, too. Cloud Gardens has a six-chapter campaign where you have to strike a balance between “the natural and the manufactured”. That means that you start by dropping seeds to start some plants growing, but then also unlock junky objects to dot around your scene....

Chorus Review A Slow Start But It Ll Sing If You Give It A Chance

Not all the first impressions are bad. Arriving at the main menu I’m greeted by a big orchestral score, choirs quickly kicking in giving it their all. It’s a bit rote, but an honest-to-God attempt to grab you by the shoulders and wheel you around the room making big swooshing space ship noises. It feels like the composer, Pedro Camacho, is very earnestly asking, “Isn’t this exciting?!”, with huge swelling horns and string arrangements, and it immediately put a smile on my face....

City Of The Shroud Won T Be Finished And Is Delisting From Steam

The developers shared the news in an update on Steam. They go on to say that they’re sorry for how development has ended, and that they’re grateful to those who supported them. That includes people who bought the game on Steam and those who backed it via a small Kickstarter in 2016. A different message was posted on the developer’s website, saying that the owner and team leader had “abandoned the project and stopped communicating with the rest of the team....

Co Op Rts Dwarfheim Will Launch In Early Access In October

A new trailer today shows more off DwarfHeim’s modes: Our Nate has been taken with DwarfHeim since he first saw it, and especially after he played it with some of the developers. “There’s an overworld player who does things like farming, woodcutting and basebuilding, an underworld player who mines ores and processes them into resources via a sort of Factorio-lite production line mechanic, and a military player who takes care of defending both players, and attacking the enemy,” Nate explained in June....

Core An Accessible Game Creation Platform Is Out In Early Access Now

Example: Core, which you could and I will describe as ‘Roblox but with Fortnite graphics’, is now available in early access on the Epic Games Store. Core is a “game creation and publication platform”. Basically it’s a set of tools that make it easy to make games in the Unreal Engine with zero coding experience, and then easy to distribute those games to players. It’s been in alpha for the past year and developers Manticore Games say they’ve had 1 million players and that there are over 20,000 free playable games currently available....

Crucial S Massive 4Tb X6 Portable Ssd Is Going For 225

Get the Crucial X6 4TB for £225 (was £475) Here’s what I said about the X6 last time it was discounted (previously it was the 2TB size): These Crucial drives are genuinely great. I use its bigger brother, the Crucial X8, here at home, where it’s been a revelation for quickly backing up files, moving downloaded videos onto the downstairs TV or simply keeping games ready to play at a moment’s notice....

Crusader Kings 3 How To Disinherit Or Kill Your Heir

Yeah, it’s not a great look. Hear me out though. Sometimes your heir is just destined to be a rubbish ruler and you have to get them out of the way. With the medieval laws of CK3, you’re forced to pass your hard work down to your descendants and even play as that useless little kid if you’re unlucky. Wouldn’t it be nice then, if you could kill your offspring to make room for a more appropriate leader?...

Crusader Kings 3 Is Adding Winter In Its Next Major Update

“As winter approaches, the map will gradually get covered in snow, clearly showing the extent of the freezing cold. The system itself is fairly flexible and allows for a great degree of control, as we can set which provinces should experience winter, and which shouldn’t,” reads the latest dev diary. “Winter won’t be limited to just the northernmost parts of the map, so expect snow to appear in places such as the Persian Mountains, or on the heights of the Tibetan plateau....

Crysis Remastered Pc Requirements Are Finally Here

Admittedly, PCs more than five years old may still struggle a bit with Crysis Remastered, as the minimum GPU requirements on Epic’s store page state you’ll need at least a GTX 1050 Ti or RX 470, both of which came out in late 2016. As a result, anyone still rocking an older GTX 970 or an R9 290, for example, may well find their PCs within that famed melting point - even though both GPUs are technically a bit faster than the GTX 1050 Ti and RX 470....

Cuphead Expansion Delayed Into Next Year

Studio MDHR co-founders Chad and Jared Moldenhauer explained in yesterday’s statement: The Delicious Last Course was originally due in 2019, when MDHR announced it in 2018, but they later delayed it into 2020. Here we go again. When it does arrive, the expansion will add a new island with a new adventure to help Chef Saltbaker. We’ll get to play as new character Ms. Chalice, who has new moves of her own, as well as get new weapons and charms....

Cute Photography Game Toem Is Coming Out On September 17Th

Now it’s got a release date, September 17th, and a new trailer below. I am thoroughly onboard with games that borrow the aesthetics of Nintendo but which are bent in some new interactive direction. Toem has wrbl-wrbl voices, and wobbly onscreen text, and pipes you jump into, and tunnelling screen transitions, and a happy cast of oddballs to help. It looks light and charming and fun - and then, the photography adds its own flavour to things....

Sackboy: A Big Adventure originally released for PlayStation 4 and 5 in 2020, and is a spin-off from the LittleBigPlanet series. The platformer follows the adventures, natch, of Sackboy, double-natch, as he runs and jumps around Craftworld in his efforts to stop Richard E. Grant. Dawn French is in it too. Our sister site Eurogamer’s review of A Big Adventure for PS5 called the game a “joyous explosion of colour and charm”, which makes it sound like it’s worth a look....

Cyberpunk 2077 S Development Still Bad Mainly Due To Crunch Not Fake E3 Demos

It’s tempting to dwell on this one fact, because it makes us, as players, the wronged party of Cyberpunk 2077’s development. Probably that should still be the developers who worked months of 13 hour days, though. The report is interesting if somewhat par for the course. Employees of CD Projekt Red told Bloomberg in the report of “a development process marred by unchecked ambition, poor planning and technical shortcomings.” They also discuss how the consequences of these issues led to some being pressured into working “extensive overtime,” as has been reported previously....

Cyberpunk 2077 Saves Can Get Corrupted If You Craft Too Much

“The save file size limit might be increased in one of the future patches, but the corrupted files will remain that way,” a support page says. While CDPR don’t give hard numbers, some players report that saves become slow to load at 6MB, then past 8MB they become corrupted and won’t even load. While save file size should grow naturally as you do more in the game, it seems crafting in particular can push them to dangerous sizes....

Cyberpunk 2077 Trailer Remade With Super Mario Movie

That’s the work of video games marketing man Vincent Coates, who I assume will soon be headhunted to take over the official campaign. It’s certainly not a shot-for-shot remake but I do like how it echoes some parts. Here’s the original, for reference: The Super Mario Bros. movie is due a rethink, I think, from me at least. It’s broadly considered trash, to which I would say yes, but perhaps it’s fun trash?...

De Exit Is About A Voxel Skeleton Investigating Spooky Goo In The Afterlife

During a Q&A, developers SandBloom Studio said that part of the idea behind De Exit is to show the different ways that people think about death. They compare it to the Pixar film Coco in that, in this version of the afterlife, you aren’t truly dead as long as someone in the living world remembers you. De-Exit doesn’t have any combat, and focuses more on exploration, puzzle-solving and stealth. This is one of those games where the hero isn’t a fighter, and makes their way through the world by being smart and sneaky instead....
