Please Make Good Mousepads With Wrist Rests

It doesn’t seem a huge ask to me, yet every time my mousepad begins to fall to pieces, shedding its fabric skin and spilling its gel guts, I end up buying a random one because there’s no clear good one. Lots are just… there. Can anyone recommend me a good one for games? Adding “gaming” to my “wrist rest mousepad” store searches only adds the horror of anime babes with gel breasts to nestle my hand between....

Powerwash Simulator Has A Secret Boss And It S Started To Bleed Into My Real World Cleaning Habits

Then I learned that although grime can’t move, it makes up for it with cunning. It cements itself on surfaces in ways you wouldn’t expect, as if to belittle my cleaning standards. After many encounters, I’ve identified this menace as The Underside: a secret boss you’ll need to beat to become the ultimate power washer.

Project Winter Is Free To Try All Weekend

Project Winter is a social survival game, one where you and a group of fellow explorers have to build shelter, infrastructure and communication tools to call in rescue before the hypothermia sets in. Only, some of your party seem fresh off a vacation on The Ship, and their murderous antics are as much a danger as any cold snap or mountain wolf. Matt took our very first early look at Project Winter when it was announced last January, and seemed hesitant of betrayal games where you can’t see the looks on your co-conspirator’s faces....

We will share updated launch details at a later time. Thank you for your patience and understanding.” “Smooth gameplay experience” is the least informative way they could put whatever it is that’s holding the game back....

Riot S First Person Shooter Valorant Aims To Take Counter Strike S Crown

Bang! I don’t see where it comes from, but one shot from the Vandal, aka AK-47, and I’m reacquainted with the dirt for the third round on the trot. I hear a cacophony of tuts from my disappointed teammates who knew exactly where the assailant was. This all feels vaguely familiar. Valorant is Riot’s spin on the first-person team shooter, and is gearing up to compete in the big leagues alongside Overwatch and Counter-Strike....

Rpg Card Battler Cross Blitz Announced For This Year

Tako Boy Studios call Cross Blitz a “deckbuilder/RPG hybrid designed to challenge a wide array of players.” You can spot the mashup down here in the announcement trailer. There are card-based battles paired with what looks to be a hex-based overworld. The card battles themselves look like an interesting setup. It’s a bit tough to suss out from the trailer up there, but Take Boy have gone into some specifics in a recent development log....

Rps Top 24 Games Of The Year 2022

Below you’ll find our top 24 games of 2022, as voted for by the RPS editorial team. This year, we each created a personal top ten list, with our favourite game assigned ten points, our second game nine points and so on. I then totted up all the votes, and the resulting list is what you see before you. Everyone’s number one made the cut, and for the first time in at least five years, we actually had a tie-break for our ultimate game of the year - which we solved by a feverish team Slack debate, and casting another final vote in favour of our number one winner....

Sam Barlow Plans Silent Hill Shattered Memories Successor

Barlow let slip in a wee tweet this week: He clarified that this is not ‘Project A███████’, the mysterious game which seems like it’ll be named Project Ambrosio. So what is it? “[W]e have a game we’re looking to make which is very much ‘what was special about [Shattered Memories]?’ ‘how would you take that further now?’” Barlow told IGN. “Like Outer World’s take on Fallout, or Bloodstained’s take on Castlevania, etc....

See The Dead Space Remake Here On Today S Stream

The Dead Space remake stream will show off a WIP version and pack chat from some of the game’s leads. Also on hand will be some folks from “the Dead Space Community Council, a group made up of some of the franchise’s biggest fans who have been consulting on this project.” Presumably they’ll be saying it’s cool, else they wouldn’t be invited. EA do stress that what we’ll see on stream is “an early prototype of the game and not final in any capacity; it is meant to illustrate Motive’s vision of Dead Space in motion for the community....

Send Thatcher Back To Hell In A New Doom 2 Mod Today

The new campaign sends us into a Hell festooned with Union Flag bunting to battle incarnations of Margaret Thatcher. Various demons wear her face, and the whole place is crammed with familar political posters and slogans, wee milk cartons replacing health potions (yes, absolutely the game says you “snatch” them), Silk Cut and Regal King Size cigarettes, and other cultural touchstones. Something it no longer features is Scotland’s own Tennent’s Lager....

Sgdq Raised Over 2 9 Million For Charity This Year

One particularly neat trick happened during the Styx: Shards Of Darkness speedrun from early in the marathon. I talked about it a bit more last week, but you can spot the clip right here. Speedrunner “Tohelot” shows off how getting out of bounds in Styx actually allows runners to exploit a set of developer tools in the game. “The database holds all the information about the level objectives and we just go on top of the buttons and press ‘yeah, we did the thing’ and go to the next level,” Tohelot explains....

Skate Story Is An Otherworldly Skateboarding Odyssey

Skating games are in a weird place. For better or worse, Tony Hawk is still on an indefinite Pro Skating hiatus, and there’s no sign Skate 4 is happening anytime soon. But in the indie space, you can’t really move for bodacious sk8er bois. In one corner, you’ve got Session reviving Skate’s low-angle technicals. In another, Skatebird is bringing back arcadey combo-busting - resurrecting Pro Skater’s breezey tricks by taking the “Hawk” part of Tony’s name way, way too literally....

Stardew Valley S Coronavirus Mod Finds Dark Comedy In The Pandemic

Though Nexus Mods user kingliamb’s coronavirus mod was first uploaded in May, I only stumbled across it the other day thanks to a post in one of many Stardew Valley groups that I follow.
