The new trailer makes it look as if you’ll be under a time limit to complete your objectives as well. The trailer also indicates there’s some kind of mystery to uncover by finding clues around the map. King’s Canyon has gotten a kick in the teeth too. Apparently both the Skulltown and Thunderdome areas have fallen straight into the ocean during Loba’s arrival and the new area Salvage is sitting in the newly-formed bay....
There’s a lot I like about this season. The new map, Olympus, is gorgeous and interesting to traverse. This is largely thanks to the vehicle, the Trident, which isn’t particularly deadly but is certainly versatile. Then there’s Horizon - the brand new Legend who is my new favourite mum (sorry real mum). So, Olympus is beautiful. It’d be unfortunate if it wasn’t, being named after a mountain where gods live and all....

This new mode - and a roadmap which includes a second set of Mastery Challenges, new weapons, and new Tombs Of The Fallen - were revealed as part of the Asssassin’s Creed series’ 15 year anniversary celebrations.
