And yep, when you’re exploring the basement of the mansion to find where Sephiroth’s been holding himself up for the entirety of your Nibelheim holiday, you’ll notice that some enemies start dropping ‘Coffin Keys’....

V rides passenger with their trauma as they recover from a gig gone wrong, and it’s only near the end that we see the katanas come out for some slashy murder....

The first act ends shortly after you see the Cyberpunk 2077 title flash up at the end of a certain pivotal quest. From there, technically, you’re in the final act of the main story. This is pretty misleading though. The second act is far, far larger than the first, and takes much longer to complete....

Miller seems like an appropriate director to take over Borderlands from Roth, even at this late stage. Deadpool was definitely a wacky action movie that strikes a similar tone to the Borderlands games, so there’s that. Miller was also a visual effects producer for games such as Mass Effect 2 and Star Wars: The Old Republic in the past, and directed the Sonic The Hedgehog movies. I’m going to go on record as actually enjoying both of those video game adaptations....
