Book Of Travels was due to release on Steam early access on 30th August, but having gathered feedback from players after its closed beta, the devs thought it best to postpone the game’s launch to ensure they get it right. A release date hasn’t been given, but an update on Steam says it won’t be long before we hear from them again. And this isn’t the first time Book Of Travels has been delayed either....
Torchlight III feels an awful lot like what it is: a free-to-play multiplayer game that thought better of itself, and decided to become a proper full-price microtransaction-free primarily solo release. If I didn’t already know the path it had taken, I’d have spent my entire time playing the game being gnawed at by wondering just what it was that made it all feel so off. Because despite its Damascene moment, it doesn’t feel like it ever quite shook off its Sauline roots....

Boot up the game and you’ll first need to pick a server for your vampiric activities. The most in your face are the public PVP and PVE servers, all capable of housing 40 vampires in total. Whichever you choose will come down to whether you’d like to battle other vampires or keep things strictly between you and the environment. Community manager Jeremy Bearson explained that the changes will come into effect from 11am UTC (4am PDT/12pm BST/1pm CEST), so it should be available right this very second. Bearson warned players on official servers that the changes would come exactly at that time so they should find somewhere safe. Among other new stuff introduced to the game today, Stunlock now have the ability to notify players of hotfixes and patches in the server in advance so players will have some forewarning....

It’s an island somewhere in the Bermuda Triangle, complete with an old fort, some ominous techy structures, and delightful sea views. “After the cold, angular world of Icebox, we were really excited for the open, bright, colorful world of Breeze,” the devs say in a press release, and I couldn’t agree with them more....

While you can go around with a Solozero SP-R 28mm sniper scope for longer range encounters, I prefer the lack of optic glint and more versatile nature of the VLK 3.0x Optic. Aside from that, I love this loadout for all ranges, dishing out massive damage in just a few shots....
Cal Kestis kills more wildlife in this than Lara Croft, but it also has more traditional parts of the Star Wars canon, like force shoving robots off the cliff edges they all like to stand beside. The video shows a section early in the game, seemingly without story spoilers, in which Cal has crash landed on a planet called Koboh. He’s venturing out onto the planet to find a way to repair his ship and along the way fighting various kinds of droids, some guards with electric staffs, and a boatload of space wolves, space birds, and space alligators....
