Once again, Blizzard have outdone it when it comes to skins. But forget penguin Mei or granny gingerbread Ana - the real highlight here is Junkrat’s goblin bastard get-up, perhaps the most honest skin that twerp’s ever been graced with. So! Before we get to the fashion show, let’s talk festivities. This year’s Winter Wonderland introduces Freezethaw Elimination, a 4v4 deathmatch with a twist. Instead of being knocked out, each kill freezes a player in place....

In the trailer you can see modular control of the angle and height of different sections of your rollercoaster track, as well as a look at the canon module and glider (which the devs Limbic Entertainment mentioned before). But there was a glimpse of a kind of pinball plunger that shoots your coaster train backwards down, a splitter that divides the train into its separate karts, and a seesaw section of track....

As is standard for the game, the start of the Harvest league marks the quarterly reset point for Path Of Exile. Players that want to jump into the glamorous world of combat gardening will have to roll a new character with an empty stash. It might sound like a hassle, but getting to experience everything fresh with a new twist is half the reason I keep coming back to the game, and this league sounds far twistier than the last....

Here’s the official trailer: Update 3.13 for Path Of Exile is called Echoes Of The Atlas, and it’s introducing eleven new maps, rewaorked ascendancies, passive skill trees for the Atlas in-game map, and new endgame bosses. I’m not sure I ever looked at Path Of Exile and thought, “What this needs is more skill trees.” And yet: the new Atlas passive trees are skill trees which sit on the game’s map, with a different skill tree for each area....

The basics of your job involve a bank of four computer terminals and a laptop, each with their own role, display, and controls....

Oculus say that Armature haven’t messed with the Resident Evil 4 fundamentals, but it is getting a lot of VR touches. “Weapons and items have been re-engineered as physical objects you can pick up and interact with,” they say. “You’ll also be able to switch weapons by grabbing them off your body instead of going into a menu, and you can wield separate weapons with each hand.” We did see just a bit of that in last week’s video....

The good news is this: Rustler really is Medieval GTA 2. Everything about it - from the top-down camera, to the mission structure, to the minigames, to the spinning weapons - is such a direct translation that I found myself playing based entirely on 22-year-old instinct for an entirely separate game. Dual Universe is one of those epic sci-fi sandbox MMOs that aims to offer a player-created universe to explore, organise and conquer. You know, like EVE Online or, erm, Star Citizen.
