I love Friday the 13th. So many cherished memories. So many splinters of reflective glass....

It was late game, a mere four squads left, when my pal “Fishhy” and I spotted another duo inside the building we were sat on. It was clear they were playing the same game as us: waiting for the other two squads to finish their skirmish before deciding whether or not to jump in on the victor. The Devil In Me follows the misadventures of the film crew behind a true crime documentary, who are lured to an isolated hotel with the promise that it’ll be a great location to get some footage for their episode on H.H. Holmes. Holmes is sometimes called “America’s first serial killer”, but his real-life murder hotel has been long since demolished, making it hard to get that sweet B-roll. Never mind, because their mysterious host is so obsessed with Holmes that he’s recreated that murder castle down to the last detail, only this one’s on an island where no-one can hear you scream....

As well as talking a lot about heists in games, we discuss whether or not most crimes are heists. For example, theft in general is just spicy picking up, and murder is a soul heist. The times being what they are, though, results in us having a long discussion of patter theft, because some dreadful American (we assume) stole the “It’s me, Blorko!” tweet and then just did a much worse version of it. Hang your head in shame, whoever you are. I also went to a first communion party and ate a lot of cake, and had a run in with a very charismatic toddler who may or may not be evil....
