The update entered beta testing on June 1st but is now available to all. Its major changes are those quality-of-life improvements. You can now save mid-expedition for example, meaning you can quit and rest without losing your progress. You can also change the speed of both expeditions and fights, increasing the tempo by as much as four times. Those were major complaints from players in the weeks after release. There are other nice-to-haves in the update, too, including easier deck switching and the ability to lock items in your inventory by right-clicking on them....
The fantasy plane All Hail Temos takes place on revolves around side-quests that bring the game to multiple different endings. The world is “clocklike”, with dialogue and choices made in quests moving everything that each decision affects onwards. It’s all logged in a travelogue to map out your choices. All the NPCs and creatures have a daily schedule to keep, and there’s a day/night cycle and dynamic weather to take into account....
I’m a wuss and would not play most horror games, but I do want to play a game where the sheets drape just so across whatever abomination is lurching beneath them. That bit where the ghost (or whatever) tumbles out a door looks remarkable. Whether those sheet physics are enough to get me over the psychological horror promised by the Steam page, I don’t know. “Explore the pain caused by the loss of a loved one, the horror of the insecurity to the deepest darkness hidden behind anxiety and depression…”, it says, and I think: nah....
Firaxis confirmed back in October that Deadpool was coming to Midnight Suns as a playable character. You can’t just grab Ryan Reynolds’ alter ego alone though, as he won’t be sold individually. Wade Wilson’s the first of four Marvel heroes joining the Midnight Suns through the game’s season pass, which costs almost as much as the game itself. Spider-Man’s frenemy Venom, former X-Men leader Storm, and, erm, Morbius, are the other characters signing up for some supernatural shenanigans at a later date....

Players can assign these abilities to the deck beforehand, and if they run out of cards, they can utilise the environment to their advantage by ripping down lampposts, for example....

Its engine burns with an unholy fusion of the Spire’s best ideas and its own, and now it’s steaming off into the history books....

The mod, Voxel Doom replaces the sprites for monsters, weapon pick-ups, items, and decorative props with 3D voxel versions. No more monsters snapping between directions or props rotating to face you, it’s full fancy 3D. The mod only recreates Doom 1 monsters right now, but creator Daniel “Cheello” Peterson says “Doom 2 monsters will be completed in the very near future.” Voxel Doom looks pretty great! Things look like the originals, only now they’re solid objects I can see from all angles, not just the handful of sprite angles....
