Nioh 2 Pc Launch Date Announced

If you’re not familiar with Nioh and its sequel, they pretty comfortably fit the “souls-like” label though they do have their own twists. There’s Amrita (souls) that your earn from killing enemies and drop on the ground if you die, at which point you’re resurrected at the checkpoint shrines (bonfires). There’s swords. There’s dodging. There’s biggo bosses. It’s good fun and I quite liked the original. There are a couple new bits in Nioh 2....

Nioh 2 S Cat Friends Can Destroy Bosses

One player by the name of poslepoludyna couldn’t beat the final boss on Way of the Demon difficulty (the equivalent of New Game+ 2). They were underlevelled and desperate for a way out. So, they summoned three cats to fight alongside them and, well, absolutely crushed the boss, “like it was nothing”. You can see the brave felines in action for yourself down below. Spoiler warning! In Nioh 2, there’s an item called the “Clay Bell of Reckoning”....

No Fable And Perfect Dark Aren T Preparing For A Comeback

If, like me, you’re unbearably online at all times, you’ll have noticed the buzz around the two long-dormant Xbox properties started when The Verge’s Tom Warren discovered “placeholder” Twitter accounts for Fable and Perfect Dark, both with minor - if noteworthy - ties to the publishers. To see this content please enable targeting cookies. Manage cookie settings — Tom Warren (@tomwarren) June 27, 2020 Unfortunately, news of the two series’ return has been greatly exaggerated....

No Man S Sky Lets You Adopt Weird Alien Pets Now

Watching all the creatures roam around in NMS was one of the main reasons I ever bothered loading the game up, and now they can come on adventures with me! I’m absolutely delighted. Any of the game’s peculiar animals can be tamed and adopted - you just need to play with them, feed them and give them plenty of attention. Once they become your best pal, you can summon them wherever you want....

Omori Pc Review

The story of Omori, a small RPG with a fervent fanbase released in the last few days of 2020, is built on such moments. Based on an independent manga of the same name, Omori is the story of a silent teenager who spends most of his time exploring elaborate retrowave fantasy worlds. When he’s not battling household objects or gators wearing sunglasses, he inhabits a blank room known only as “White Space” that contains his laptop, a black lightbulb, a box of tissues, and an extremely disturbing sketchbook....

Ori And The Will Of The Wisps Life Cell Fragment Locations How To Get More Health

Contents What are Life Cell fragments? Ori And The Will Of The Wisps Life Cell fragment locations What are Life Cell fragments? Life Cell fragments are collectables that you will need to get two copies to make an extra chunk of maximum health. While life can be restored with certain skills or by hitting green things, you’ll only have three life cells to begin the game with. Some enemies can hit really, really hard at later stages of the game, so having more overall life cells can make these harder trials little easier....

Our Favourite Rps Features From 2022

They’re by both the RPS treehousers and freelancers who climbed up the ropeladder to help out. If you feel the call to adventure yourself, why not drop me a line next year? Engaging with the extended treehouse metaphor is not a requirement. Here’s to more profound strangeness in 2023. Project Zomboid shows The Walking Dead is not helpful in a zombocalypse Much to enjoy in Hayden’s piece about how his zombie-apocalypse survivalist dreams hit the wall of Project Zomboid....

Parkitect S Free Multiplayer Update Is Out Now

Assuming you’re all on the same wavelength, that is. Your pals ought to know better than to plop down a bloody Ferris Wheel in the middle of your rollercoaster masterpiece. Parkitect’s multiplayer update lets up to eight players all hop into the same theme park, working together to build a grand old amusement park in a fraction of the time. You can hop into a sandbox map or any of the game’s campaign scenarios - and while the devs reckon some mods may need a little tinkering to work properly, most should work out of the box in multiplayer....

Pirates Of The Caribbean Coming To Sea Of Thieves This Month

And look, I’m not saying that the Pirates Of The Caribbean films do not form a billion dollar franchise, but when you tell me that Sea Of Thieves is getting the “Why is the rum gone?” man, I know what sort of feels like the better get for whom. In fairness it is, thematically, a very good pairing, and Jack Sparrow isn’t the only PotC person or place to feature in the game....

Playstation And Xbox Games The Steam Quiz

That’s why this week’s Mystery Steam Reviews — a quiz segment on a weekly video podcast called The PC Gaming Weekspot — revolves around all things PlayStation and Xbox. If you can’t beat ’em, join ’em! So, what we’ve decided to do is focus on games that originally launched on consoles and then came to PC later. While that’s rarer these days, there are plenty to choose from if you go back as far as the PS2 and original Xbox era....

Podcast June Halloween Special

You’ll be pleased to know that this podcast (which is episode 98 despite the fact I say 97, okay? It’s 98. Just ignore it) contains a healthy dose of inter-cast banter. In particular, this week sees some shots fired between VidBud Matthew and Nate. Nate is obviously feeling feisty after recovering from his illness. This week, in lieu of a game testing Alice and Matthew, he presents a Five Nights At Freddy’s trivia package....

Potion Craft S Demo Is The Cure For Crafting Woes

I already knew Potion Craft had a physical quality to it, something that’s drawn me to a lot of games recently. I’ve grown weary of pressing buttons that make things happen and far prefer just being allowed to simulate the thing happening somehow. Potion Craft does have that—from cranking the bellows to strirring your cauldon to chucking your potions around the shop—and it’s just as satisfying as I’d hoped. The real magic of Potion Craft, however, is that it really isn’t about learning recipes at all....

Pull Heists As A Sentient Spaceship In A Long Journey To An Uncertain End

As the ship, you’re legally mandated to make the “vrroooom vroom whooooosh!” noises yourself while playing. Go on, you’ve got plenty of time to practice. Formed by veterans of Obsidian and Telltale Games, Crispy Creative’s first outing looks to be a big gay space romp - something I am entirely, aggressively here for. While the above trailer doesn’t dig too deep into the game’s mechanical centre, it does set the stage for Long Journey’s premise....

Rockstar Release Gta 3 Vice City And San Andreas Remasters

Grove Street Games (formerly War Drum Studios) have rebuilt the three games in Unreal Engine with graphical fanciness like new lighting, high-res textures, a longer draw distance, fancier models, as well as GTA5-style controls. It’s a curious look. I think the originals look a bit cartoony partially from technical limitations and partially from style. The remasters are heavily cartoony, expanding on what they actually looked like without consideration for what they tried to look like....

Rocksteady Have Responded To Reports Of Sexual Harrassment

In 2018, 10 of Rocksteady’s 16 female employees (at a company of over 200 people) signed a letter to management raising complaints about sexual harrassment and other inappropriate behaviour. One signatory felt the company hadn’t done enough since then and shared the letter with The Guardian, claiming that some of the women had left the company due to management’s inaction. After that, the former senior writer of Rocksteady’s Suicide Squad to say she had drafted the letter, that she felt pressure not to rock the boat, and that she believed she lost her job as a result of it....
